Regional connectivity in Kerala is set to receive a boost with a proposed 2 km link road connecting Cochin International Airport directly to the upcoming Kochi Outer Ring Road near Mattoor. Developed jointly by NHAI and CIAL, the bypass route aims to significantly cut travel time and alleviate local traffic congestion. NATPAC is finalizing the engineering design and traffic study, while government land acquisition progresses toward formal notification and construction.
