Noida Airport Accelerated: Dec 15 Operations Goal Set

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to fast-track the final stages of construction at Noida International Airport to enable operations by 15 December 2025.

During his site visit on 27 November 2025, CM Adityanath stressed the need to complete all pending security-related tasks. Noida International Airport (NIAL) CEO RK Singh noted that the airport is in its final phase, with only a few compliance steps remaining before obtaining the aerodrome license, which could be granted as early as 2 December, pending the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) clearance.

Shailendra Bhatia of NIAL stated, “Once BCAS approval is received, the DGCA can issue the aerodrome license within 24 hours.” Commercial flights, however, are expected to commence in early 2026, allowing airlines time to make operational adjustments.
