TACC, a subsidiary of HEG under the LNJ Bhilwara Group, has secured a ₹1,230 crore credit facility from the State Bank of India to set up a greenfield manufacturing plant in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh.
The upcoming facility will produce 20,000 MTPA of lithium-ion battery-grade graphite anode material—a key component in electric vehicles and energy storage systems. As one of India’s first plants dedicated to this critical material, the project represents a significant step toward building a self-reliant domestic supply chain for advanced energy technologies.
Equipped with state-of-the-art technology and sustainable manufacturing practices, the Dewas plant will deliver high-quality graphite anodes that meet international standards. The initiative reinforces India’s ambitions in clean energy and electric mobility.
Through this project, TACC aims to strengthen the country’s transition to a green economy by localising production of essential battery materials. It also underscores the company’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and contributing to India’s energy independence.
