TVS SCS x Daimler India: A New Era of Supply Chain Excellence

TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS) has secured a three-year contract from Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) to manage in-plant warehouse operations at DICV’s manufacturing facility in Chennai.

Under the agreement, TVS SCS will handle end-to-end warehouse management, ensuring seamless material flow, optimised inventory control, and enhanced operational efficiency. The company will deploy advanced technologies, including IoT-based tracking for real-time visibility, automation to reduce manual handling, predictive analytics for improved planning, and digital dashboards for performance monitoring. This technology-driven approach aims to strengthen DICV’s production ecosystem while maintaining high standards of efficiency and quality.

Approximately 700 TVS SCS employees will be deployed at the facility to support warehouse operations, further reinforcing DICV’s manufacturing capabilities. The partnership highlights TVS SCS’s commitment to delivering efficient, technology-led supply chain solutions for global automotive manufacturers.
