Endurance Technologies Announces Lithium-ion Battery Plant in Pune

Endurance Technologies has announced plans to establish a lithium-ion battery pack manufacturing facility in Pune, Maharashtra, with an investment of approximately ₹47.3 crore, fully funded through internal accruals. This strategic move marks the company’s entry into the fast-growing electric mobility and battery energy storage sectors.

The plant is expected to begin phased production in Q4 FY26, with full-scale operations by January 2026. Once operational, it will have a monthly capacity of 35,000 battery packs aimed at the domestic market.

Traditionally known for its auto components like suspension, braking, and transmission systems, Endurance Technologies is diversifying into sustainable energy solutions. This initiative reflects the company’s commitment to innovation and its alignment with the automotive industry’s shift toward electric vehicles and eco-friendly technologies.
