Classic Legends is entering a new growth phase, with plans to expand production capacity and evaluate a potential greenfield manufacturing facility as demand continues to outpace supply.
The company, known for reviving iconic brands such as Jawa Motorcycles, Yezdi, and BSA, is witnessing a strong turnaround after earlier challenges related to quality, distribution, and product cycles. In FY26, retail sales surged to over 45,000 units, driven by new product launches, improved affordability following GST reductions on sub-350cc motorcycles, and a capital infusion of ₹1,000 crore between FY23 and FY26.
Currently operating at full capacity, the company is facing bookings that exceed production levels and is targeting output of more than 100,000 units by FY27.
The planned expansion and potential new facility reflect growing confidence in sustained demand within India’s premium motorcycle segment, where both competition and consumer interest are on the rise.
