Lumax Auto Technologies Limited (LATL), a leading Tier-1 supplier to Indian automotive OEMs, has inaugurated its state-of-the-art ‘Smart Hub for Innovation and Future Trends’ (SHIFT) Technology Centre in Bengaluru.
The new facility marks a major milestone in LATL’s strategy to advance its capabilities in electronics, mechatronics, and digital systems, aligning with the global transformation toward software-defined vehicles (SDVs).
The inauguration was attended by key industry partners, including Daimler India, Hero MotoCorp, Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, and TVS Motor Company, underscoring LATL’s strong partnerships across the Indian automotive ecosystem.
The SHIFT Technology Centre will drive advanced research and development in areas such as in-cabin experiences, ADAS, connectivity, and embedded electronics, delivering next-generation solutions for evolving mobility needs.
Commenting on the launch, Anmol Jain, Managing Director of LATL, highlighted the company’s vision to lead the transition toward intelligent, connected, and sustainable mobility, reinforcing its position at the forefront of automotive innovation in India.
