Motovolt x Cargo Players: Electrifying the Last Mile.

Motovolt Mobility has partnered with logistics service provider Cargo Players to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in hyperlocal and quick commerce delivery operations.

As part of the collaboration, Cargo Players will deploy Motovolt’s MVS7 electric two-wheelers within its delivery network, supported by battery-swapping infrastructure from Indofast Energy. The integration is aimed at improving last-mile delivery efficiency by minimising vehicle downtime and enabling seamless operations through rapid battery replacement, eliminating the need for extended charging periods.

The initial rollout will focus on key urban markets, including Delhi-NCR and Pune, where demand for quick commerce and on-demand delivery services continues to grow. Designed specifically for gig economy riders, the MVS7 offers a practical, durable, and cost-efficient mobility solution tailored to the requirements of high-frequency urban delivery operations.

The partnership is expected to support both rider productivity and logistics efficiency while helping fleet operators advance their sustainability goals and comply with evolving emissions standards. The initiative highlights the growing momentum behind electric mobility adoption in India’s fast-expanding hyperlocal delivery and quick commerce sectors, reinforcing the role of innovative EV solutions in transforming urban logistics.
