Oben Electric Gears Up for International Expansion in Emerging Markets

Bengaluru-based EV startup Oben Electric is preparing to enter international markets by 2026, targeting emerging regions across Asia, Latin America, and West Asia that mirror India's demand and usage patterns.

“We’re looking to expand beyond the Indian market. Through our approach of vertical integration and in-house design, we aim to deliver high-quality products and service to customers globally,” said Madhumita Agrawal, Founder and CEO of Oben Electric.

Established in 2020, Oben Electric focuses on manufacturing electric motorcycles in the premium commuter segment, equivalent to 125cc–150cc ICE vehicles. The company currently retails under the brand “Rorr,” with two models in its portfolio — the Rorr and Rorr Ez.
