Royal Enfield Opens First Eastern Region Warehouse in West Bengal

Royal Enfield has recently inaugurated its inaugural warehouse in the eastern region, situated in the Bagnan area of West Bengal's Howrah district. Spanning an expansive 50,000 square feet, this facility is dedicated to the distribution of spare parts and is poised to become a central hub catering to the needs of the entire eastern and north-eastern regions.

This strategic move is anticipated to enhance Royal Enfield's supply chain efficiency, significantly reducing transit times for the delivery of motorcycle parts. The establishment of this warehouse near Kolkata is not only aimed at streamlining the supply chain but also fostering the growth of channel partners in the region.

The decision to focus on the eastern region is underscored by the fact that more than 27 percent of Royal Enfield's total sales in the country originate from this area. By establishing a dedicated warehouse, the company aims to capitalize on the market potential and strengthen its market presence.

In terms of global exports, the United States emerges as the primary overseas market, contributing 45 percent of the total volume. Following closely are Europe, West Asia, and Africa, while the Asia Pacific region contributes significantly with 20 percent of Royal Enfield's total exports.
