Turning Trash to Gas: REnergy Secures Two Major CBG Projects

REnergy Dynamics has secured two waste-to-compressed biogas (CBG) projects from Refex Renewables & Infrastructure Ltd in Tamil Nadu. The projects include a 12.5 tonnes-per-day (TPD) CBG plant in Coimbatore and a 10 TPD facility in Salem, the company said in a statement.

The plants will process the organic fraction of municipal solid waste (MSW) as feedstock and will incorporate two-stage mesophilic anaerobic digestion with continuous stirred-tank reactor (CSTR) technology. According to the company, the technology is expected to improve waste processing efficiency, maximize gas production and support dependable long-term operations.
