Bid Now: Build Silchar's Gas Future with MECON & PBGPL!

MECON, on behalf of Purba Bharati Gas Pvt. Ltd. (PBGPL)—a joint venture of Assam Gas Company Ltd. (AGCL), Oil India Ltd., and GAIL Gas Ltd.—has invited bids for civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical works under the City Gas Distribution (CGD) project in Silchar, Assam.

The scope of work includes the supply, construction, erection, and commissioning of infrastructure for City Gate Stations (CGS) and CNG stations (Mother and Daughter Booster Stations) at greenfield sites and retail/dealer outlets.

The last date for bid submission is June 23, 2025.

PBGPL is developing the CGD network for the Geographical Area (GA) of Cachar, Hailakandi, and Karimganj, as authorized by PNGRB. MECON is serving as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) for this initiative.
