Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) is set to invest ₹1,086 crore in its subsidiary Terra Clean to add 4.3 GW of renewable energy capacity, following an earlier equity infusion of ₹1,304 crore for 1 GW. This move significantly expands IOC’s green energy footprint.
In parallel, IOC has signed a five-year LNG supply agreement with Trafigura for 2.5 million tonnes, valued at USD 1.3–1.4 billion. The Henry Hub-linked deliveries—27 cargoes in total—will commence in the second half of FY26 to support growing domestic gas demand.
For the first time in its history, IOC’s annual sales volume exceeded 100 million tonnes in FY 2024–25.
