Medilux Labs Pioneering the Future of Healthcare Chemistry in Madhya Pradesh

Medilux Laboratories Private Limited is building a Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturing Unit In Pithampur, Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. The project is awaiting environmental approval, although its early plans were for 1,000 tons of bulk medicines, fine chemicals, APIs, and their intermediates per year for Rs. 17 crores. The Madhya Pradesh pharmaceutical industry relies on the location at Plot No. 98-99, Sector-1, Pithampur Industrial Area.

This project might boost the area pharmaceutical industry and create local jobs. Local manufacturing of essential chemicals and intermediates may reduce imports, improving self-sufficiency. The State Expert Appraisal Committee (SEAC) of Madhya Pradesh reviews the project during approval, prioritising environmental concerns. The initiative prioritizes reducing waste, air, and water pollution.

However, Medilux Laboratories projects have experienced community environmental compliance and engagement difficulties. Transparency, environmental concerns, and community engagement techniques are essential for building local trust and acceptance. 

As on December 2023, The project is now in the stage of receiving approvals. The project has received all necessary clearances.
