Paradeep Phosphates has confirmed that Phase-I of its phosphoric acid expansion at Paradeep, Odisha, remains on schedule. Upon completion, the project will elevate annual capacity from 500,000 tonnes to 700,000 tonnes. Complementing this growth, the Board of Directors approved a ₹250 crore capital expenditure to construct an Aluminium Fluoride (AlF₃) manufacturing plant. By utilizing existing operational by-products, the new unit expands the company’s non-subsidy commercial portfolio.
These announcements accompanied strong financial results for Q1 FY27. Operations generated ₹6,124 crore in revenue (up 36% YoY), driven by a 4% increase in sales volume to 9.85 lakh metric tonnes. EBITDA and Profit After Tax (PAT) both surged by 24% YoY, reaching ₹764 crore and ₹393 crore, respectively.
