R A Chem's Pigments & Dyes Rise in Gujarat

R A Chem Pharma Organic Industries has proposed the establishment of a Pigments & Dyes Manufacturing Unit at Survey No. 454, Village: Neja, Taluka Khambhat, Dist. Anand, Gujarat, encompassing a total land area of 8802 m2. A significant portion of this area, approximately 2911.15 m2 (33.07%), is designated as greenbelt space, emphasizing the company's focus on integrating greenery and environmental considerations within the project.

The envisioned project requires a capital investment of Rs. 4.5 crores, aimed at establishing a manufacturing unit for pigments and dyes. To meet the water demand for operations, the source will be supplemented either by tanker supply or groundwater sources. The total anticipated water requirement is estimated at 55.5 KL/Day, comprising 49.5 KLD of fresh water and 6 KLD of reused water, indicating a planned approach towards water conservation through recycling practices.

Considering operational processes, the project forecasts the generation of approximately 34.87 KL/day of effluent, consisting of 33.23 KL/day from industrial processes and 1.5 KL/day from domestic sources. The figures underscore the project's awareness of effluent management and wastewater treatment, aiming to address and mitigate environmental impacts through planned effluent management strategies.

As on December 2023, The project is currently in the stage of being approved currently awaiting approval from the government.
