Sakarni Plaster Invests ₹450 Crore to Expand Manufacturing

Delhi-based building materials leader Sakarni Plaster (India) Ltd has announced a major capital expenditure of ₹450 crore over the next two years to aggressively scale its manufacturing footprint.

Led by Chairman and Managing Director Ashok Gupta, the expansion strategy features two greenfield facilities: a state-of-the-art gypsum board plant in Andhra Pradesh and a dedicated paint manufacturing plant in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Additionally, the company will ramp up operations at its 12 existing units, which are primarily situated in Rajasthan.

Building on a robust financial year with revenues totaling ₹900 crore, these strategic investments will bolster Sakarni's production capabilities across its diverse portfolio—including Plaster of Paris, wall putties, construction chemicals, and surface solutions—to meet surging nationwide demand for modern building materials.
