Twin-Tube Triumph: DBL to Build Key Tunnel and Road in Kerala!

Dilip Buildcon (DBL) has received the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) for a major road infrastructure project in Kerala, further expanding its national footprint in high-value infrastructure development. The project includes the construction of a twin-tube unidirectional tunnel, with two lanes in each direction, and a four-lane approach road connecting Anakkampoyil–Kalladi–Meppadi across the Kozhikode and Wayanad districts.

Awarded on an Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) basis, the project covers a stretch from km 0.460 to km 8.735, totaling 8.275 km under Package-II. The contract is valued at ₹1,341 crore (including GST), with a scheduled completion period of 48 months from the start date.

This infrastructure upgrade is expected to significantly improve regional connectivity and reduce travel time in Kerala’s hilly terrain, fostering economic growth and easing transportation challenges. DBL’s expertise in executing technically demanding projects positions it well to deliver this project with high quality and efficiency.
