Jhansi Junction Gets a Makeover: Bids Open for Virangana Lakshmibai Station Upgrade

North Central Railway is currently accepting bids for the revitalization of Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi railway station in the Jhansi division of Uttar Pradesh, following an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) approach.

The project encompasses a wide range of activities, including design, detailed engineering, surveys (pre-engineering, pre-construction, and post-construction), procurement, fabrication, transportation, construction involving civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, fire fighting, and other associated services. It also includes installation, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and the final handover of the project.

The estimated cost for this comprehensive initiative is Rs 441.71 crore, and the anticipated completion timeframe is 42 months.

Prospective bidders are requested to submit their proposals by the deadline of 02 February 2024.
