IIT Bombay Invites Bids for Construction of Academic Blocks

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay is currently accepting bids for the construction of academic blocks at its Powai campus in Mumbai.

The project involves the construction of two academic blocks, namely Block-1 and Block-2, each featuring a lower ground plus ground level structure with 10 upper floors. The scope of work encompasses finishing tasks, internal water supply, sanitary and electrical installations, fire fighting systems, fire alarm & ELV systems, fully-equipped laboratories, lifts, air conditioning setup, external development, and furniture installations.

This significant contract, valued at Rs 180 crore, is slated to be completed within a timeframe of 27 months, accounting for the monsoon period. Interested bidders are required to submit their proposals by the closing date of 02 January 2024. This venture promises to contribute to the enhancement of IIT Bombay's academic infrastructure in its pursuit of excellence.
