Amaryllis Healthcare Private Limited has made a substantial investment of ₹59 Crores in the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Surgical Masks Unit Project located in Mysuru, Karnataka. This investment serves as a clear indication of the company's dedication to fulfilling the need for key healthcare supplies.
With the intention of contributing to import substitution, the project, which is situated on eight acres of land in the Adakanahally Industrial Area, intends to manufacture personal protective equipment (PPE) kits, surgical masks, and possibly other hygiene goods within the country.
There is a lack of important information, such as production capacity and particular product specifications, which highlights areas that require further investigation and transparency. Despite the fact that the project has the potential to generate employment opportunities and to stimulate the local economy, this information is still lacking.
