WB MSCL Rs 83.98 Crore Vision Takes Shape in West Bengal

West Bengal Medical Services Corporation Limited (WB MSCL) is initiating a transformative venture aimed at constructing Annex & Hostel Buildings in Raiganj, Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal, with an estimated outlay of Rs 83.98 crore. This endeavor focuses on elevating healthcare provisions and enhancing accommodation for medical personnel within the region.

The proposed project entails erecting an annex building alongside the existing hospital infrastructure, catering to additional medical amenities like outpatient departments, diagnostic labs, and treatment rooms. Simultaneously, a dedicated hostel building will be erected to provide essential accommodation for medical staff. Anticipated to reach completion within the coming years, this initiative reflects a pivotal step toward bolstering healthcare accessibility and staff welfare.

The augmented facilities will significantly augment healthcare services in Raiganj and its environs, thereby enriching the quality of care available to the populace. Moreover, the provision of staff accommodation is poised to attract and retain qualified medical professionals, vital for sustained healthcare delivery. Furthermore, the project's execution is set to generate employment opportunities during both the construction phase and subsequent operation of these crucial healthcare facilities.

As on December 2023, Project is at approvals received stage. Project got all the clearances.
