Yael Real Estates Private Limited intends to build a warehouse on a plot of land spanning 1,46,976.533 m2 (36.31875 acres) in Faridabad, Haryana. The project has been submitted to the Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change (MoEFCC) for environmental clearance. It proposed constructing a 260 kld Sewage Treatment Plant (STP).The warehouse project is a Category B2 project, which indicates it is a medium-sized project with potential environmental consequences. Before deciding whether to give environmental clearance, the MoEFCC will review the project's environmental impact assessment report (EIAR).The warehouse project's EIAR examined the project's possible environmental consequences and offered mitigation actions to mitigate these impacts.
The following are the project's primary environmental impacts:Air pollution: The project will release pollutants into the atmosphere like as dust, noise, and odors. These contaminants can cause respiratory and other health issues.Water pollution: The project will produce wastewater containing chemicals and contaminants. This effluent has the potential to damage the neighboring water bodies, threatening aquatic life and human health.Changes in land use: The project will need the use of land, which may result in the displacement of people and wildlife. To mitigate these environmental impacts, the EIAR has developed mitigating methods.
Among these measures are:Installing pollution control equipment to decrease pollutant emissions into the atmosphere.Preparing wastewater for disposal into the environment by removing contaminants.Compensation for humans and wildlife harmed by land use change. The environmental clearance procedure is still under progress. After reviewing the EIAR and other relevant elements, the MoEFCC will decide whether to give environmental clearance for the project. If the project receives environmental clearance, Yael Real Estates Private Limited must follow the terms of the permission.
These conditions will ensure that the project does not have a substantial negative impact on the environment. Here are some of the warehouse project's primary features:Dhateer and Tehraki, Faridabad, Haryana1.46,976.533 m2 (36.31875 acres) of landPriyank Environment Consultants Pvt.
