Big Win: EIEL Secures ₹256.92 Cr Contracts Under Namami Gange

Enviro Infra Engineers (EIEL) has expanded its hybrid annuity model (HAM) portfolio to five projects after securing two new contracts worth Rs 256.92 crore from Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam (Rural) under the Namami Gange Programme. The scope includes a 45 MLD sewage treatment plant (STP) at Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Nagar (Rs 126.78 crore) and a 60 MLD STP at Lohta, Varanasi (Rs 130.14 crore), excluding GST. Both contracts feature associated infrastructure and a 15-year operations and maintenance (O&M) period. To cut carbon emissions and improve operational efficiency, these self-sustaining facilities will integrate solar energy and biogas-based power generation, advancing sustainable sanitation across Uttar Pradesh.
