Mega Deal Alert: HG Infra to Lead ₹3,931 Cr Highway Project

HG Infra Engineering Limited has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Welspun Enterprises Limited for a major highway development project in Maharashtra, the company announced on May 11, 2026.

The contract involves the construction of a six-lane highway corridor, including partially elevated sections, along with improvements to the existing road stretch from Km 10+600 to Km 64+000 on the Pune–Shirur section of NH753F. The project spans a minimum design length of 53.40 km in the state.

The total value of the project stands at ₹3,931.11 crore, excluding taxes.

The highway project is expected to strengthen connectivity between Pune and Shirur, while improving traffic movement, road safety, and overall transportation efficiency on one of Maharashtra’s important highway corridors.
