Jain Irrigation Systems has won a significant contract from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) to drive agricultural solar adoption across the state.
Under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana, the Letter of Empanelment requires Jain Irrigation to supply, install, test, and commission 5,000 off-grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS). Valued at Rs 117.96 crore, this initiative will significantly bolster rural irrigation infrastructure by providing reliable, renewable-energy-based power solutions to farmers throughout Maharashtra.
This latest project further solidifies Jain Irrigation’s vital role in expanding the state's green agricultural energy network.
