Jupiter Wagons Ltd (JWL), through its subsidiary JEM Energy, has won two Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects totaling 100 MW/400 MWh from WBSEDCL, valued at approximately ₹400 crore. Located in Jeerat and Kharagpur, West Bengal, the projects will be executed under a 15-year build-own-operate (BOO) model, expanding JWL’s footprint in the growing green energy sector.
