Waaree Transpower Private Limited—a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Ltd. and formerly known as Kotsons Private Limited—has secured a ₹160-crore order from a leading global energy storage technology provider. The contract entails supplying 8.3 MVA Medium Voltage (MV) Skids for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) applications.
Marking a major export milestone for the Mumbai-based electrical infrastructure company, shipments commenced in July 2026.
Engineered to IEC standards, the 8.3 MVA MV Skid is a containerised, plug-and-play solution housed within a 20-foot container. Its stackable and shippable design streamlines logistics and simplifies large-scale BESS deployments globally.
This strategic win solidifies Waaree Transpower’s foothold in the international energy storage supply chain and expands its footprint in the clean energy transition sector.
