Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) has awarded an ₹87.15 crore contract to Golden Rock Workshop, Southern Railway, Tiruchirapalli, for the supply of specialised freight equipment.
The order covers 12 rakes of BLSS wagons equipped with Brake Van Type BVCM. The domestic procurement is aimed at strengthening CONCOR’s freight-handling infrastructure and supporting seamless container movement across the railway network.
The procurement will also help the company expand its multi-modal transport capacity and modernise its container logistics operations.
