Rudra Gas Enterprise has secured a contract from Bengal Gas Company—a joint venture of GAIL and GCGSCL—with a fax of acceptance (FOA) dated January 24, 2026.
The contract, valued at ₹24.7 crore, comprises two main components. The first involves steel pipeline laying works under the Kolkata Gas (Phase-IV) project on an ARC basis for a duration of two years. The second covers the laying, testing, and commissioning of underground steel pipelines, along with associated works, in the North 24 Parganas and South 24 Parganas districts (Part-A) and Kolkata Municipal Areas, also over a two-year period.
This project supports Bengal Gas Company’s ongoing efforts to enhance the region’s gas distribution network and represents a significant step in expanding gas infrastructure across Kolkata and its surrounding areas.
