GE Power India (GEPIL) has secured a significant contract from NTPC GE Power Services (NGSL) to renovate and modernize steam turbines at NTPC's Vindhyachal TPS Units 1-3. These units, each with a capacity of 210 MW, will undergo extensive upgrades to enhance their heat rate efficiency and extend their operational lifespan.
The contract, valued at approximately Rs 348 crore, is slated for completion over the next 44 months. GEPIL will oversee all critical aspects of the project, including design, engineering, testing, and commissioning of the upgraded systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
