John Cockerill India Wins ₹50 Crore Contract in Chhattisgarh

John Cockerill India has secured a manufacturing and supply contract worth approximately ₹50 crore in Chhattisgarh, awarded by Godawari Power and Ispat.

The contract covers the complete scope of engineering, design, manufacturing, and supply of equipment for a 6HI Cold Rolling Mill, to be installed at the company’s TILDA plant. It also includes on-site supervision for erection and commissioning, ensuring the project meets all contractual performance guarantees.

Scheduled for completion by end-2026, the project marks a significant step in enhancing domestic capabilities in steel manufacturing and precision engineering. The collaboration underscores a growing emphasis on self-reliance and technological advancement within India’s industrial sector.
