Keltron Powers Up Indian Navy with ₹97 Crore Defense Electronics

The Kerala State gadgets Development Corporation Limited (Keltron) received a ₹97 crore order from the Indian Navy to produce vital undersea defense gadgets. Keltron Equipment Complex at Karakulam, Keltron Controls at Aroor, and Keltron Electro Ceramics Limited will develop a variety of items for the order.

Industries Minister P. Rajeeve noted Keltron's superior production skills, which the Indian Navy trusts for crucial defense equipment. Keltron's low-frequency processing modules for sonar arrays, which detect and identify submarines and ships, are part of the deal. Keltron will deliver two processing modules after prototype testing and quality assurance.

Low-frequency processing modules from Keltron improve sonar system detection of targets at greater distances. Keltron will also make echo sounders, electromagnetic logs, data transfer units, and power amplifiers for anti-submarine shallow watercraft sonar systems.

Keltron's vital role in aiding India's defense sector with modern maritime electronic systems is highlighted by this order. The contract reinforces Keltron's leadership in defense electronics and shows its dedication to innovation and quality in delivering important national security equipment.

Keltron's contributions to India's defence capabilities will reach a milestone as the manufacturing process is closely monitored to assure quality.
