BEL & SASMOS: A New Powerhouse Duo for Indian Defence

Bharat Electronics Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with SASMOS HET Technologies Limited to collaborate on defence electronics and component manufacturing.

The MoU was exchanged in the presence of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, underscoring the government’s continued push to strengthen indigenous defence manufacturing.

The agreement was formally exchanged between Manoj Jain and Chandrashekar H. G. Under the partnership, the two companies will work together in areas such as defence electronics, system integration, and component manufacturing to support various defence programmes.

Officials said the collaboration aims to localise critical components, enhance domestic value addition, and strengthen India’s production capabilities while boosting exports in the defence electronics sector.
