Diamond Power Lights Up Adani Grid with ₹1,349 Cr Conductor Deal

Diamond Power Infrastructure has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) worth ₹1,349.11 crore from Adani Energy Solutions for the supply of 24,080 km of AL-59 high-performance conductors.

According to regulatory filings, the conductors will be used in several strategic transmission projects, including Jamnagar, Khavda-IV D, HVDC, Navinal-II, and Mahan-II. The contract, based on a kilometer-rate pricing model with price variation provisions, is scheduled for completion by June 2028.

The AL-59 conductors, known for their high conductivity and lightweight characteristics, are critical in boosting the efficiency of modern power transmission networks. This major order significantly enhances Diamond Power’s project pipeline and supports India’s push toward a more robust and renewable-friendly grid infrastructure.
