Expanding Horizons: BRN’s ₹170 Cr Highway Win

BRN Infrastructures has secured a ₹169.99-crore engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for a major highway capacity augmentation project in Maharashtra.

The contract involves the widening and capacity enhancement of the Pimpri Sado–Vadape stretch of NH-848, covering a section from km 460.900 to km 537.000. The scope of work includes the construction of 25.14 km of slip/service roads on both sides at multiple locations.

In addition, the project entails the construction of two flyovers, each 25 metres long, at Borivali Junction (km 528.550), along with a 15-metre-long large vehicle underpass (LVUP) at Sherekarpada (km 528.800).

The expansion is expected to significantly improve traffic flow, road safety, and connectivity along the corridor, contributing to enhanced highway infrastructure in the state. The project forms part of NHAI’s ongoing efforts to upgrade national highways and boost capacity across key transport routes.
