P&C Projects Wins Big: ₹166.9 Cr for Kovalam Reservoir Project!

P&C Projects has been awarded a ₹166.9 crore contract by the Water Resources Department (WRD), Tamil Nadu, for the formation of a new reservoir in the Kovalam Sub-basin.

The Phase 1 project involves works on the eastern and southern sides of the reservoir. The site is located between the East Coast Road (ECR) and Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR) in Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu district. The contract duration is 24 months.

Once completed, the new reservoir is expected to significantly enhance water storage and supply in the region. The project forms part of the state government’s broader efforts to strengthen water management infrastructure and address local water needs, benefiting surrounding communities, particularly during dry periods.
