Patel Engineering Lands ₹1,318 Crore Kondhane Dam Project

Patel Engineering has secured a ₹1,318.89 crore contract from the City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra (CIDCO) for the construction of the Kondhane Dam in Raigad district, Maharashtra. The project includes civil works, hydro-mechanical and electrical components, and involves constructing a 1,209-meter-long, 83-meter-high dam. Scheduled for completion in 42 months, the company had earlier been declared the lowest bidder for the project.

This win follows closely on the heels of a ₹718 crore contract from North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO) for a 240 MW hydroelectric project in Arunachal Pradesh, expected to produce 1,000 million units of electricity annually. Together, these developments highlight Patel Engineering’s growing order book and continued success in the infrastructure sector.
