Prathima Infrastructure has emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for a major mining services contract at the Mungoli Nirguda Extension Deep Opencast (OC) Mine, located in the Wani Area of Maharashtra.
Valued at ₹669.88 crore, the contract involves comprehensive services including overburden removal, coal extraction, handling, transportation, and heavy earthmoving equipment (HEMM) operations. The project is aimed at enhancing coal production efficiency and ensuring reliable coal supply to meet regional energy demands.
The Mungoli Nirguda Extension mine is a significant coal source supporting thermal power generation and industrial activity in Maharashtra. The large-scale, mechanised mining and logistics operations under this contract are expected to improve the mine’s operational performance and delivery timelines.
This development further solidifies Prathima Infrastructure’s position in the mining services sector and demonstrates its capability to manage high-value, technically demanding projects. Additionally, the project is anticipated to generate employment and contribute to strengthening the state’s coal supply chain infrastructure.
