Alpex Solar’s ₹65 Crore Mega Win in Maharashtra

Alpex Solar has received an order valued at ₹65 crore (excluding GST) from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) for the supply of off-grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems (SPWPS).

The order has been awarded under the Government of India’s PM-KUSUM B Scheme as part of the “Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump” Yojana, which promotes the use of clean energy in agriculture. The solar pumping systems will be deployed across multiple districts in Maharashtra, with project execution scheduled for completion within 60 days.

Commenting on the development, the company stated that the project represents a key milestone, strengthening Alpex Solar’s presence in India’s expanding solar pump market. Solar-powered irrigation solutions are increasingly seen as vital for sustainable agriculture, offering farmers reliable daytime power, reduced operating costs, and lower carbon emissions. This order further reinforces Alpex Solar’s role in India’s decentralised renewable energy landscape.
