Power Mech Projects has secured a ₹579 crore contract from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) for civil, structural, and architectural works at the 2x800MW DVC Koderma Thermal Power Station (KTPS) Phase-II in Jharkhand.
The project scope includes site levelling and grading, along with the construction of critical structures such as the power house, boiler, ESP, mill & bunker, and fan foundations.
Additional work encompasses fire protection, ventilation, sewage systems, LP piping, cable racks, switchyard works, and fencing to separate the existing station from the new project site. The contract also covers labour facilities, foundations for a rooftop solar system, and various service buildings.
