NCC Secures Major Mumbai Metro Line 6 Project for ₹2,269 Cr

NCC has been awarded a major contract by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) for Package 1-CA-232 of the Mumbai Metro Line 6 (Swami Samarth Nagar to Vikhroli - Eastern Express Highway corridor).

Valued at approximately ₹2,269 crore (excluding GST), the contract covers the design, manufacture, supply, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of key metro systems. These include rolling stock, CBTC signaling, telecommunications, platform screen doors, and depot machinery & plant.

Metro Line 6 is a crucial part of Mumbai’s expanding urban transit network, aimed at easing congestion and enhancing east-west connectivity. This win significantly reinforces NCC’s footprint in India’s urban transportation sector.
