RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from South East Central Railway for the execution of an optical fiber cable (OFC) infrastructure project.
The contract, valued at ₹26.73 crore, includes the supply, transportation, trenching, laying, and backfilling of optical fiber cables, along with associated works such as horizontal directional drilling, HDPE pipe insertion, cable blowing, jointing, and termination.
The project is scheduled for completion by March 5, 2027, and is expected to enhance digital connectivity and communication systems across the railway network. Through this initiative, RailTel aims to further strengthen the telecom and data infrastructure supporting railway operations and services in India.
