Titagarh Bags Big Wagon Order: ₹312 Crore Deal!

Titagarh Rail Systems has secured a significant contract from the Ministry of Railways for the manufacture and supply of 780 BVCM-C wagons. The order, valued at ₹312.69 crore, is slated for completion within nine months from the date of contract award.

The BVCM-C wagons are specialized high-capacity rolling stock designed for bulk cargo transport, aimed at meeting the evolving logistical demands of Indian Railways. Their addition is expected to boost freight efficiency across key sectors.

This contract aligns with the Ministry of Railways’ broader strategy to modernize and expand its freight infrastructure for cost-effective and reliable cargo movement. Titagarh Rail Systems continues to strengthen its role as a key contributor to India’s rail transport modernization through its expertise in rolling stock manufacturing.
