Ceigall Infra Projects, a subsidiary of Ceigall India, has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation (MPRDC) for the development of the Indore–Ujjain greenfield highway project.
The project will be implemented under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) and involves the construction of a four-lane, access-controlled highway with paved shoulders. The 48.10 km corridor will originate near Pitra Parvat in Indore and terminate near Ujjain, including the Simhastha bypass section. The contract has been awarded at a bid value of Rs 1,089 crore and is scheduled for completion within 24 months from the date of appointment.
Upon completion, the highway is expected to enhance connectivity between Indore and Ujjain by enabling safer, faster, and more efficient travel. The project will help ease traffic congestion, promote regional economic growth, and improve access to key religious and commercial hubs in Madhya Pradesh, thereby strengthening the state’s transportation infrastructure and supporting long-term regional development.
