Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) has secured the lowest bidder (L1) position for a road construction project awarded by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), with a contract value of ₹554.64 crore.
The project entails building a six-lane, access-controlled road connecting Visakhapatnam Port Road. It will stretch from the Sabbavaram bypass of the Anakapalli-Anandapuram corridor to Km 12.660 (Sheelanagar junction) of NH-516C.
Executed under the hybrid annuity mode (HAM) in Andhra Pradesh as part of the NH (O) scheme, the project is scheduled for completion within 24 months.
