NBCC Takes Flight! Rs 36.15 Crore Contract Boosts Order Book

NBCC (India) has surged by 3.55% to Rs. 194.00 on the BSE after securing a significant work order. The company, listed in BSE Group 'A', opened trading at Rs. 188.10 and reached a high of Rs. 195.50 today. Over 1.73 million shares were traded. With a market cap of Rs. 34,263 crore, NBCC has seen a 52-week high of Rs. 198.25 and a low of Rs. 40.20.

The recent boost comes as NBCC announced a Rs. 36.15 crore contract from Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti to install Solar/Electric Water Heating Systems in 331 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas across India. This follows another recent Rs. 36 crore project from NIT Patna.

NBCC (India) specializes in project management consultancy services for civil construction projects, civil infrastructure for the power sector, and real estate development. Currently, promoters hold 61.75% of the company, with institutions and non-institutions holding 14.27% and 23.98%, respectively.

This latest development underscores NBCC's role in sustainable infrastructure projects, contributing to its robust market performance and strategic growth in the construction sector.
