Purvah Green Power Bags 300 MW Solar-Storage LoA from SECI

Purvah Green Power (Purvah), a subsidiary of CESC, has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) dated 27 October 2025.

Under the award, Purvah will develop a 300 MW solar power project integrated with Energy Storage Systems (ESS) at a tariff rate of ₹2.86 per kWh. The project will be implemented over a 25-year period, commencing from the scheduled start of power supply.

This achievement follows Purvah’s successful bid in response to SECI’s Request for Selection (RfS) for setting up 2,000 MW of ISTS-connected Solar PV projects, which includes 1,000 MW/4,000 MWh of ESS capacity across India.

The project underscores Purvah’s commitment to advancing renewable energy integration and supporting India’s clean energy transition.
