Servotech Wins ₹16.31 Cr DFCCIL Solar Bid

Delhi-based clean energy manufacturer Servotech Renewable Power System has announced that it has secured a ₹16.31 crore contract from Railway Energy Management Company Ltd (REMCL) to design, supply, and commission solar power systems at the Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Ltd (DFCCIL) complex in Noida.

According to the company’s filing on the National Stock Exchange, the project includes the installation of ground-mounted and rooftop on-grid solar plants of varying capacities. The work is expected to be completed within 12 months from the issuance of the letter of award.

REMCL—a joint venture between RITES and the Ministry of Railways—awarded the contract through a domestic tender. Servotech clarified that the order involves no related-party transactions, and the promoter group has no interest in the awarding entity.

This project represents another step toward strengthening renewable energy infrastructure in India’s railway network, supporting the sector’s broader sustainability and clean energy goals.
