Waaree Scores Big: ₹547.5 Crore Solar Project Contract!

Waaree Renewable Technologies has successfully secured a substantial contract valued at Rs 547.5 crore for a solar energy project with a capacity of 412 MWp. The prestigious contract has been granted by one of the world's leading utilities specializing in renewable energy.

Having been issued a Letter of Award (LoA), Waaree Renewable Technologies is entrusted with the comprehensive responsibility of undertaking the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) tasks for the solar plant. Additionally, the LoA encompasses a two-year Operations and Maintenance (O&M) period following the handover, with a corresponding order value of Rs 6.798 crore.

The slated completion date for the project is December 2024, adhering to the specified terms of the contract. Notably, the solar power plant will be developed on a turnkey basis, showcasing Waaree Renewable's prowess in delivering end-to-end solutions.

With this recent addition, Waaree Renewable's unexecuted order book has surged to an impressive 1.161 GW, reinforcing its position as a key player in the renewable energy sector.
